Happy New Year, Walsh Families! November and December were great months for our Walsh Bearcats!

We started our engines with our Walsh Races PTO’s Annual Food Drive we took it full throttle and we won by getting to deliver a large collection of items to Manna Room Food Pantry and The Center of Hope. This was made possible by all our parent donations and volunteers!

Thank you to Taylor Burgett Teagarden for re-stocking the lounge with treats and supplies. Thanks to generous donations we were also able to distribute wish list baskets for our Special Education team, GT teacher and our school Nurse! Our new sponsor The Klucsarits Family gifted our staff a delicious Caramel Apple “nacho” Cart for a November treat. It was topped off with an apple cookie sweet by Sugar Cookie Co TX. We had a HAP-PIE Thanksgiving delivering a pie to each staff member! Jennifer Spidel Addison worked so hard planning this fabulous event that kicked off our holiday season with our 1st Annual Reindeer Games and Toy Drive Benefitting Advocats and Parker CO. Sheriff’s Posse. A family fun snow filled event with holiday games, hot cocoa with cookies and of course the live reindeer Dancer and Prancer visited! Thank you to Highland Homes for sponsoring a special treat for our students to take home Amuse Bake Shop for the individually wrapped cookies that were just as delicious as they were beautiful. The Campsite Parties sprinkling joy everywhere we turned. Walsh Student Council who helped manage the cocoa and cookie stations. We are so proud of our Walsh PTO Crew.  Volunteers provided holiday gift wrapping for our teachers and staff. We ended our season with 2 treat carts and lunch. Lisa Fillback Gravelle & Soumyajit Mukherjee sponsored the cutest Charcuterie Tree snack cart! Palio’s pizza and salad for a lunch break. Polar Express Pajama Day and a Holiday treat for our staff! Our PTO sponsor The Campsite Parties jazzed up the cart that decked the halls with our PTO provided hot cocoa and warm apple cider for a sweet treat! PTO gifting a signature Walsh Elementary candle by 76008 Candle Co.

Thank you to all who supported Big Kahuna this year. The funds will be distributed across various initiatives, programs, and needs within the school.
