Coder Elementary PTO

We are still recovering from the busiest but most wonderful time of year at Coder! We kicked off November by participating in the district-wide Food Drive that benefited Manna House and Parker County Center of Hope. A competition between grades was a wonderful incentive and we had a great participation turnout at Coder. Thank you to Aledo residents and owners of iFratelli Fort Worth, the Mazons’s, for partnering with Coder for a very successful spirit night! Another thank you to the McCulloch family and Goosehead Insurance for providing mini pies for the Coder staff to kick off Thanksgiving Break. We kicked off December with our annual PTO gift wrapping Staff appreciation week, gave the front entrance of Coder a Christmas Glowup (Thank you Strickland Family!), and decked ALL the Coder halls in Christmas Cheer! Dr. Jay Carpenter provided Vagabond coffee to all staff to kick off Christmas Break and volunteers went room to room with a cart full of cheer passing out coffee, Christmas cookies, and Christmas presents sponsored by the talented Morgan McCall. We also stocked the lounge in November and December with favorite snacks and goodies, thanks to the generous families on Prairie Run and Bluestem Lane! We couldn’t do any of this good work without the support and generosity of the wonderful families and businesses who step up as sponsors. If your family or business would like to sponsor a staff appreciation event or stock the lounge this spring, email CoderPTO@AledoPTO.org for more info!
