Welcome Back Bearcats!

School Supply Pickup:

Aledo PTO will hold drive-thru school supply pickup at each campus for remote learning students only for grades Pre-K-through-6 and for ALL students in grades 7 and 8 using the following schedule:

5-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 13 - Pre-K-6th remote learning students only; 7th-8th grades ALL students
9-11 a.m. on Friday, August 14 - Pre-K-6th remote learning students only; 7th-8th grades ALL students
Drive-thru locations at each campus, most following normal parent pick-up traffic flow:
o Coder: in the front of the building
o McCall: east side of the building, in the bus loop
o Stuard: in the back of the building
o Vandagriff: in the back of the building
o Walsh: in the front of the building
o McAnally: the map provides details of the traffic flow

Prior to arriving, please write the first and last name AND grade level of the student in bold print on a full-size sheet of paper. It is helpful to have this posted on the passenger’s visor to be easily read by the distribution team.
When driving through, the vehicle will pull up to the distribution point and stop. No one will be allowed to get out of the vehicle. Please be prepared to open your trunk/back door for volunteers to place school supply packs into your car.
Only school supply packs that have been previously purchased will be distributed. Please note that extra packs will NOT be for sale at these drive through events.
If you are unable to pick up your pre-purchased school supply pack during either of these times, your pack will be labeled and available for pickup next week.

For Pre-K- through 6th-grade students who are learning in person, school supplies will be in the student’s classroom on their first day of school. Questions? Email schoolsupplies@aledopto.org.

A special thank you to all the volunteers who have helped sort school supplies as they were delivered to the campuses and an advance thank you to those who will be helping distribute the school supplies at our drive through events. We could not do this without your help!

Walsh Elementary

We are planning to make a Welcome Back Survival Kit for each member of our Walsh staff and we need your help! Please consider making a donation to the Aledo PTO/Walsh Staff Appreciation to help purchase the items included in the kit.

Donations can be made by credit card or PayPal on the Aledo PTO website (aledopto.org). (Instructions from the main page - (1) select Donate, (2) click on Donation Form, (3) select General, Scholarship, and Staff Appreciation Donations, (4) scroll down to Staff Appreciation Donation - Walsh Elementary, (5) enter your amount, (6) add to cart, and (7) complete your checkout.)

Aledo Middle School

While this year will look rather different than previous years, our goal is to make sure that our fabulous middle school teachers & staff are well loved and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to the Aledo Middle School Staff Appreciation Fund through the Aledo PTO website (aledopto.org). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the AMS Aledo PTO Campus Representative, Jennifer Churion at jchurion@aggienetwork.com.

All other campus representatives are busily planning staff appreciation for their campuses. Please consider making a donation to either the Aledo PTO Staff Appreciation fund for your child's campus or the Aledo PTO General Fund via aledopto.org.
